Apartments for sale in the Monaco port offer some of the most beautiful views in the entire Principality. Residents of apartments in Port Hercules often spend the afternoon gazing out at the yachts as they navigate to and from the port. The origins of the port are found in the books of ancient history, however the port of today was built in 1926 and later modernised in the 1970s. It has anchorage for up to 700 vessels and covers an area of land of approximately 40 acres.
A residence on Port Hercules in Monaco provides an excellent central location, a few minutes to the East and you find yourself in the bustling commercial district of Fontvieille and a few minutes to your West will take you to the steps of the Monte-Carlo casino. Having a balcony facing the port will give you a trackside seat for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Historic Grand Prix and the E Grand Prix. You never know how many friends you have until you’ve got a balcony for the Grand Prix.
You have a fantastic range of amenities to enjoy, all within walking distance of the port. The Monaco Yacht Club provides an excellent space to meet friends for lunch, dinner or drinks on the balcony overlooking the port and the sea. If you become a member of the Yacht Club you can access their swimming pool, gym and other facilities.
Also located in Port Hercules, Monaco is the famous ACM Automobile Club of Monaco. It’s hard not to think of motorsport racing when hearing the name Monaco being mentioned in conversation. The Principality has a long and rich motorsporting history and the Automobile club is intertwined with that history at every turn. The current club is located at 23 Bd Albert 1er and has a restaurant, a bar, private member’s rooms, a McGregor collections boutique, a marketing agency, ticket office and other rooms currently rented to Maison de France. The club’s distinguished history owes itself to the hard work of volunteers and members who join together to create a club that belongs with the very best in the world.
The Port of Monaco also has a vibrant bar and restaurant scene. You will be able to visit some of the famous names such as Stars’n’Bars, the Brasserie de Monaco, Quai des Artistes and La Rascasse. The Port also neighbours the Condamine area which has a selection of boutique shops presented on pretty streets lined with Orange trees.
