The Monaco Grand Prix

Taking place every year since 1929, the Monaco Grand Prix welcomes visitors from all over the world to watch its races, promising "an exceptional location of glamour and prestige", according to the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile.

The track follows Monaco's five distinct areas, featuring an exhilarating combination of narrow streets, tight bends, a tunnel and many hills, making it one of the most demanding tracks in Formula 1, all within breathtaking surroundings of mountains and sea.

During the event, Monaco becomes flooded with visitors, among them including the world's media, motorsport royalty and countless celebrities, who make the most of their stay by attending exclusive parties around Monaco and on yachts in the harbour.

Monaco may be the second smallest country in the world at two square kilometres, but it still packs a punch. Location, transport, healthcare, international schooling, world-class facilities and varied business opportunities make the country an ideal home for many. It's also an independent sovereign state, meaning that the Principality legislates on virtually all matters including direct taxation.
